Microsoft 365 Business Basic

Business Basic covers organisations whose staff work primarily in a browser, or who already have desktop Office licences and only need the hosted services. It provides business email on your own domain, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint, with the web and mobile versions of the Office applications.

The practical limitation is the absence of installed desktop applications. For roles that live in Excel, that limitation is felt quickly; for frontline and field staff it rarely is.
